FAQ

Accessible Parking, Entrance, & Seating

For your convenience, there are several accessible parking spots located in front of the Chesterfield Amphitheater. Accessible parking is also available in the surrounding parking lots which are all within a short distance of the Chesterfield Amphitheater. All accessible parking spots are on a first come, first serve basis and to park in these spaces the vehicle must have a state issued handicapped window pass, sticker, or license plate.

There is an accessible entrance ramp at the entrance of the Chesterfield Amphitheater that will allow passage to any part of the amphitheater.

Handicap accessible seating is available at all seating levels/ticket tiers in various locations throughout the Chesterfield Amphitheater.

AED Location

The Chesterfield Amphitheater is equipped with an automated external defibrillator (AED), which can save lives in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. The AED is located in the concession stand by the bathrooms and VIP deck. In the event of an emergency, please notify the nearest staff member.

Animals

For Ticketed Events:

Animals or pets of any kind are not permitted into the Chesterfield Amphitheater facilities during ticketed events with the exception of trained service animals and service animals in training for guests with disabilities. Service animals must be leashed at all times unless performing a necessary task for their handler which requires the leash to be removed. Handlers are responsible for cleaning up after their service animal and for any damages caused by the service animal. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other guests and/or employees may be asked to escort the animal off of the premises.

For Free Events:

Dogs are allowed at the Chesterfield Amphitheater facilities during free events. All dogs must be on a maximum 8’ non-retractable leash at all times. Handlers are responsible for cleaning up after their animals and for any damages caused by their animal. A guest whose animal poses as a threat to the safety of other guests and/or employees may be asked to escort the animal off of the premises.

Bag Policy

For Ticketed Events:

A maximum bag the size of 12” x 6” x 12” is permitted with inspection. Exceptions will be made for medical and/or childcare bags.

For Free Events:

A maximum bag the size of 12” x 6” x 12” and a small/medium sized cooler are permitted with inspection.

***All lawn chairs will need to be completely removed from chair bag for security***

Banners & Signs

Banners and signs are permitted as long as they do not block the view of others, interfere with the event, contain advertising in any form, present a safety hazard, or contain political or obscene material. Management reserves the right to remove any banner or sign. Signs may also be prohibited, if requested by the event.

Cameras and Recording Devices

Professional cameras (specifically cameras with professional/detachable lenses and flash) are not permitted. The Chesterfield Amphitheater reserves the right to examine and prohibit the use of any camera that conflicts with the policy set by the event.

Cancelled/Postponed Events

In the event a performance is cancelled or postponed, event specific information will be distributed as soon as possible on our website (www.chesterfieldamphitheater.com) and our social media channels.

Cashless Information

The Chesterfield Amphitheater concession stand and bars will be cashless and only accept credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payments as a form of payment.

External vendors such as food trucks and merchandise tables will accept all forms of payment including cash.

Children

Children 5 and under are free in general admission areas. If within a reserved seating section, a ticket must be purchased for each individual.

There is one permanent concession stand located on the northside of the Chesterfield Amphitheater by the restroom facilities and the menu can be viewed below. In addition to the concession stand, there are 3 container bars located throughout the facility.

Door Time

The door time varies by event. Please view the event specific page for to view the correct door time.

Drop Off/Pick Up Location

The best location for drop off/pick up is at the Chesterfield Family Aquatic Center parking lot located to the south of the main gate and box office.

Entrance Locations

There is only one entrance into the Chesterfield Amphitheater. The main gate is located at the southside of the Chesterfield Amphitheater in front of the Veteran’s Honor Park.

First Aid

A trained medical professional is available onsite during all events and will provide medical attention when necessary. The First Aid station at the Chesterfield Amphitheater is located on the northside of the amphitheater by the concessions and restroom facility. In the event of an emergency, please go to the first available officer or staff member for assistance.

Fixed Seating

The Chesterfield Amphitheater has 304 fixed stadium seats near the stage. For free and general admission only events, these seats are first come, first serve. For ticketed events, a reserved seating ticket must be purchased for these seats. The remainder of the amphitheater is lawn and standing room only. For some shows, the lawn terrace and pit may be seated. Please see the show specific page for more information on seating for your event.

We do not sell gift cards at this time.

Tickets being purchased at the Box Office can only be purchased with a credit or debit card. The box office WILL NOT ACCEPT cash or Apply Pay.

The concession stand and bars are now cashless and will accept credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay.

Purchasing Tickets

Tickets are available at www.chesterfieldamphitheater.com and at our box office which is open only on show days from an hour prior to the door time until 10pm.

Always remember that tickets purchased from secondary sites may not be legitimate. The Chesterfield Amphitheater cannot resolve any ticketing issues involving secondary sites.

Re-Entry

For your safety, once a person exits the Chesterfield Amphitheater, re-entry is strictly prohibited.

Renting the Chesterfield Amphitheater

The Chesterfield Amphitheater can host a variety of Theatrical, Musical, Educational, Corporate, and Private events. With 304 fixed seats and the ability to hold around 4,000 overall, as well as the 4,200-sf performance platform, the amphitheater is equipped to host large or small events.

Set within central park, the chesterfield amphitheater is an intimate and stylish venue that combines state-of-the-art audio technology and modern architecture with community charm. The gazebo behind the amphitheater is also available for a small gathering for events.

Restrooms

The permanent restroom facility is located on the northside of the Chesterfield Amphitheater near our concession stand.

An accessible restroom and baby-changing station is located by the Blue Moon VIP deck.

Security

All guests are subject to search upon entry. Any person refusing search will not be admitted. Walk-through metal detectors and/or security hand-held wands are used at most events at the Chesterfield Amphitheater. Cell phones, keys, and wallets will be placed on the table before walking through the metal detector and/or being wanded down. Fans are encouraged to allow extra time to enter the Chesterfield Amphitheater and leave non-essential items at home. All bags will be searched upon entry. All lawn chairs will need to be completely removed from the bag in order to go through security.

Show times differ per event and are posted on each event page. Please note that all show times are subject to change.

Smoking

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted at the Chesterfield Amphitheater. A designated smoking area will be located on the northside of the amphitheater near the permanent restroom facility.

Sponsorships

We host a variety of events and recreational programs throughout the year, bringing a community of all ages together. We offer promotional incentives to our sponsors to help promote their business in appreciation for their support. As an event sponsor, your organization will receive visibility through a variety of marketing, advertising, signage and /or media coverage. Strollers

Strollers are allowed in the Chesterfield Amphitheater for free and ticketed events in general admission areas only. All strollers are subject to be searched.

Water Refill Station

There will always be a jug of ice-cold water located at our concession stand where you can fill/refill your water bottle(s) for FREE.

Weather

The Chesterfield Amphitheater has a rain-or-shine policy. In cases of extreme weather, the Chesterfield Amphitheater will be in contact with the National Weather Service to ensure the safety of our patrons. Delays due to extreme weather will be posted on our website and our social media channels. If you are instructed to leave the venue due to severe weather, in most cases, your vehicle is the safest option.
