Chesterfield Amphitheater Aide – Seasonal (May-October)

• Part-Time, including nights and weekends.
• Average of 10-15 hours per week.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Reports directly to the Arts & Entertainment Specialists.

This position will assist with Events at the Chesterfield Amphitheater and oversee patron services and event logistics to ensure the smooth operation of events from May through October.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with social media management and content creation, including capturing photos/videos during events, drafting posts, supporting promotional efforts, and helping maintain a consistent online presence for the amphitheater. This responsibility will be assigned to one specific part-time staff member and is not required of all employees.

• Set up and tear down of equipment for events, including electrical, sound and stage, tables, chairs, and tents

• Coordination of gates and house opening
• Resolving discrepancies
• Grounds & restroom upkeep
• Responding to patron needs and inquiries with an emphasis on great customer service
• Enforcement of crowd control functions such as preventing guests from standing in aisles or on chairs/walls
• Enforcing the no glass/smoking policy
• Using excellent customer service skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the general public
• Sell concessions at various events/operate a POS system/handle cash payments
• Box office duties

Skill Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have event experience and the ability to work various hours (days, nights, weekends, and holidays).

Experience Level:

Experienced (non-manager)

Education Level:

High School or Equivalent

Compensation:

The starting pay is $17/hour for this part-time/seasonal position.
